ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – From artisan crafts to floral-flavored food, the 18th Annual Lavender in the Village Festival was in full force Saturday. This year was the first year the festival was held at Balloon Fiesta Park.
Over 140 vendors took over the space, bringing lavender crafts in every form. From soaps and lotions to food and drink infused with the delicate plant, the Lavender Festival showcases New Mexican talent and creativity.

“This is all New Mexico-made. That’s another thing that makes this so amazing and beautiful is that these vendors are New Mexican, vendors and artisans and farmers,” says Dean Strober, event organizer.
