5 face life terms in prison for gang-related shootings

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Five men face life terms in prison for two gang-related shootings, including one that killed a man at the Mesa Marin Sports Complex.

As previously reported by 17 News, Ulices Alonso, Eric Faria, Francisco Gracia, Uriel Ramirez and Ulyses Zelayandia were found guilty July 18 of charges including conspiracy to commit murder.

Prosecutors said Alonso, Faria and Zelayandia face up to 50 years to life in prison; Garcia faces up to 80 years to life, and Ramirez up to 105 years to life…
