Milwaukee, Wis. – Drivers across southern Wisconsin face treacherous travel conditions Sunday morning as dense fog blankets the region, reducing visibility to a quarter mile or less in many locations through 9 a.m.
According to the National Weather Service in Milwaukee/Sullivan, a Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect for a broad swath of southern and eastern Wisconsin, including Milwaukee, Madison, Janesville, and Waukesha. Visibility has dropped below 0.25 miles on major highways such as I-94, I-43, and Highway 151. Fog is expected to gradually lift between 8 and 9 a.m.
