Travel Alert: Interstate 30 Lane Closures Scheduled for Overnight and Daytime Maintenance in Rockwall County

Heads up to all drivers planning to navigate Interstate 30 in the coming week: a series of lane closures is slated to impact your route. Particularly, these disruptions will occur overnight from 9 PM to 5 AM and involve bridge and road maintenance tasks ranging from bridge activities at FM 35 and Sabine Creek to removals and the placement of hot mix on various portions of the thoroughfare.

Moreover, there will be closures from Fate Main PL to FM 3549 to allow crews to safely remove and place the hot mix. On the frontage roads, drivers should anticipate closures for embankment work and hot mix installations.

But it’s not only the night owls who will be affected—the daytime traffic will also face its share of hindrances. Starting from tomorrow, extending through to Saturday, various U-turn closures at John King and FM 3549 are set to take place during the hours of 9 AM to 3 PM. Additional daytime disruptions will consist of flagging operations at FM 548 for drainage and bridge work, and frontage road lane closures near SH 205 and Townsend Dr for embankment projects and barrier installations…
