Particularly, these disruptions will occur overnight from 9 PM to 5 AM and involve bridge and road maintenance tasks ranging from bridge activities at FM 35 and Sabine Creek to removals and the placement of hot mix on various portions of the thoroughfare.
The schedule, obtained from an official posting on Rockwall County’s website, lists detailed closures which include the eastbound left lane from FM 548 to FM 2642, and the westbound left lane from FM 2642 back to FM 548 due to bridge activities. Moreover, there will be closures from Fate Main PL to FM 3549 to allow crews to safely remove and place the hot mix. On the frontage roads, drivers should anticipate closures for embankment work and hot mix installations.
