Scattered showers and storms likely to kick off the weekend!

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – Welcome to the weekend! Today brought much-needed relief from the high heat and humidity. Tonight will be mostly dry with few clouds overhead and temperatures will drop to the 70s by tomorrow morning. Tomorrow brings back the high heat and humidity across the region, and this includes a Heat Advisory that will last from 10am to 8pm.

Highs rise back towards the average for this time of year, which is the low-to-mid 90s, and some areas could reach the upper 90s. Isolated showers are possible and will pop up in the southern half of the region. Conditions get warmer as the rain chances start to disappear by the start of the new week!…
