City of Spokane to begin 3 road projects July 28, drivers urged to use caution and expect delays

SPOKANE, Wash. — The City of Spokane is starting three grind and overlay projects next week and are urging motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists to plan ahead, allow for extra time, and use alternate routes during peak traffic hours.

The city reminds people to slow down for everyone’s safety and make the extra effort to support businesses impacted by the necessary projects.

The projects are as follows:

Sprague & Alki-Broadway – Freya to Havana Grind and Overlay
