Vision Niagara announces inaugural “Passport to Niagara Street” event

Passport to Niagara Street is a 9-week event that celebrates the vibrant businesses and rich cultural diversity of Buffalo’s Niagara Street in the Vision Niagara footprint. It’s the perfect time to create such an event, considering that so many great businesses have popped up on the street in recent years, from the West Side Bazaar to Black Rock Bookstore. The mix of offerings is one-of-a-kind, and new offerings are constantly popping up.

Now, Passport to Niagara Street will shine an even brighter light on 14 Niagara Street businesses that have made their mark along the commercial corridor. Starting Saturday, July 26 and running until Saturday, September 27, the event – organized by Vision Niagara and several community members – encourages people to pick up their passports at any one of the following businesses:

Black Rock Bookstore, Britesmith Brewery, Campus WheelWorks, CooCooU, Frost Artisan Bakery, Gold Lion Coffee House, Local Honey Beauty Hive, Local Honeycombs, Marco’s, Mortalis Brewing, Provisions 139, Sports City Pizza Pub, WEDI’s West Side Bazaar, and Wildroot.

Once they have their passports in hand, participants can begin to collect their passport stamps. When passports are completed, they can be returned to the Welcome Desk at the West Side Bazaar. From there, each of the completed passports will be entered into a raffle*, for a chance to win a gift basket that will include items from all the participating businesses…
