TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA)— Monday’s forecast calls for more record heat, as well as increasing rain chances, with a 50% chance of scattered rain and storms throughout the afternoon and evening.
High temperatures on Monday afternoon are expected to climb into the upper 90s for most areas, with some isolated spots potentially reaching 100°. Heat indexes will be in the triple digits the entire afternoon, upwards of 112°, if not greater, by the peak heat of the day.
As a result, a Heat Advisory is active for every county in the Bay from 12 pm – 7 pm.
