OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Nearly 7,000 OPPD customers were without power early Monday due to outages across the metro.
As of 4 a.m. Monday, OPPD’s outage map showed about 5,472 in Douglas, 97 in Washington, 20 in Dodge, 3 in Sarpy, and 1 in Saunders County impacted.
The biggest impacts were in the Benson, North Omaha, and Midtown areas. At its peak, our team noted that about 6,800 total customers had no power.
Some in Iowa also experienced outages, with MidAmerican Energy reporting that over 600 of their customers in Council Bluffs did not have power…
