Boise, Idaho – Scorching summer heat will grip much of Idaho on Tuesday, July 29th, with Boise expected to hit 98°F by mid-afternoon. Health officials and emergency managers are urging residents to limit outdoor activity and stay hydrated, especially during peak heat between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.
According to the National Weather Service in Boise, the region will remain under a summer weather alert as high pressure locks in dry, hot conditions through at least Friday. While only a 20% chance of thunderstorms exists Tuesday night, roads like I-84 may experience reduced visibility from localized storms and shifting winds.
