The ever-playful folks at Petaluma’s downtown toy store Poppy’s are preparing to launch what they are calling “a vibrant new sweet treat destination” in the form of a small cafe focusing on delicious boba tea drinks and snacks.
Poppy’s Cafe is tucked inside the spacious store, which is gradually becoming a true downtown destination. The place regularly hosts a whole series of entertaining events – like the upcoming Pinewood Derby car crafting workshop and race, or the high level Lego Creator Build Event – offered alongside the opportunity to peruse, test drive, and purchase a huge assortment of toys.
“Poppy’s Cafe aims to become a beloved neighborhood community hub and third place where kids can hang out in a safe, inclusive environment and parents can chill,” is how the space is described in a recently distributed press release…
