Ohio hospitals rank among best in the U.S., report says

OHIO — Hospitals across the Buckeye State received numerous mentions once again this year on the U.S. News & World Report’s best hospitals ranking for 2025-26.

  • The U.S. News and World Report released their latest best hospital rankings
  • Ohio hospitals were included in the top 50 across several categories
  • Cleveland dropped from number one to three for cardiology, heart and vascular surgery

Of note, however, was Cleveland Clinic losing its top spot nationally for cadiology, heart and vascular surgery, dropping down to third place. It was overtaken by two New York hospitals: NYU Langone Hospitals and Mount Sinai Hospital.

The hospital was still included in the Best Hospitals Honor Roll on the ranking list, what the U.S. News and World Report calls the “top 20 highest rated hospitals in the U.S.” It was the only Ohio hospital included on that list…
