Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN) went to the hospital on Sunday with a broken rib after a horse kicked him in the chest, according to his office.
“While working on his farm over the weekend, Congressman Burchett was accidentally kicked by a horse. He suffered a broken rib and bruising but hasn’t missed a beat,” said Will Garrett, a spokesman for Burchett.
Burchett’s wife drove him to the hospital, where he was examined and discharged the same day. He has since maintained a normal schedule back in his Knoxville, Tennessee-based district, meeting constituents and party officials with the House on recess for August…
