SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Five suspected migrants aboard a 20-foot vessel off the coast of San Diego were taken into custody Sunday.
The incident occurred around 7:01 p.m. around 2.5 miles southwest of Point Loma, the United States Coast Guard said in a news release Monday.
Coast Guard Sector San Diego intercepted a vessel heading north towards Mission Bay after crossing the Maritime Boundary Line.
