ANCHORAGE, AK (Alaska’s News Source) – Anchorage officially topped out in the lower 70s Monday afternoon, marking the seventh day this month we warmed into the 70s. While we’ll see one more run at it today, rain showers and clouds spreading south into the region will limit warming today. The heaviest rain will continue to favor areas of the Interior, where temperatures today may struggle to climb out of the lower 60s in many spots.
SOUTHCENTRAL:
Southcentral is expected to see a gradual return to rain today into Wednesday, with most of the rain for Tuesday favoring the Mat-Su Valley. While the rain won’t be widespread, we will see some scattered to periodic rain showers. These showers will eventually spread south across the region into Wednesday, with the morning commute likely on the wet side tomorrow…
