GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – A man arrested by Gainesville Police Department officers for kidnapping a woman and taking her across state lines was sentenced to half a century behind bars.
On Monday, Willie Harvey, 44, was sentenced to 50 years in prison on kidnapping and other charges connected to an incident in July 2019.
Prosecutors say Harvey kidnapped a woman from her home in Tifton, Ga., and drove her to Gainesville, Fla.
