Jacksonville woman accused in Airbnb scheme asks judge to cancel arrest order

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A Jacksonville businesswoman accused of defrauding hundreds of clients in an Airbnb investment scheme is asking a judge to cancel a court order for her arrest, claiming she has now complied with post-judgment financial disclosure requirements.

Janay White, the founder of JW Enterprises Unlimited LLC, filed an emergency motion last week seeking to discharge a writ of bodily attachment issued by a Duval County judge on July 18.

The writ is essentially a civil arrest warrant. It allows law enforcement to take White into custody for up to five days unless she submits complete financial records as ordered by the court…
