NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) – The suspected gunman in a Manhattan shooting on Monday used an AR-15 assault rifle, Gov. Kathy Hochul said.
“The killer used an AR-15–style assault rifle. The same weapon of war used in mass shootings across America,” Hochul said in a statement Tuesday.

The suspected gunman, identified as Shane Tamura, opened fire at an office building on Park Avenue, which contains offices for the NFL, Blackstone and Rudin Management.
