JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Non-profits are changing the face of Jackson by simply looking outside and deciding to take action against the deteriorating conditions themselves. A portion of Briarwood Drive, previously filled with debris, is now a welcoming site for thousands.
Over the course of three years, the founder of Brairwood Arts Center transformed what was once a littered and vacant property, along with those beside it, into a thriving creative hub, thanks to the help of local organizations and businesses.
