The only board-specific shop in Boise, Idaho will shut its doors this fall. The BoardRoom has been a staple of the community since it opened in 1995. The owners were left with no choice but to shut down operations after the landlords told them they have listed the building for sale, an Instagram post said. “Unfortunately, with no prior notice, we were left with little time to secure a new location before winter inventory starts arriving. Despite exploring every option, we’ve come to the difficult conclusion that closing is our best path forward,” the post said. “Starting (August 1st), we’ll begin winding down operations with an inventory sale running over the next 8 weeks. For now, our store hours and days of operation will remain the same.”
