Albuquerque woman avoids jail time in shoplifting case

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A repeat shoplifter walked out of an Albuquerque courtroom Tuesday morning and won’t be spending any more time behind bars for those charges. Deanna Gonzales-Gonzales, 35, was accused of three separate shoplifting charges in March of this year.

Deming couple accused of locking child in shed pleads not guilty to abuse charges

She took a plea deal, bringing the charge down to only a single count of organized retail crime. The judge handed down the reduced sentence of time served, which was two months.
