Newly approved subdivision will have 1,000 residential homes, two-thirds for age 55 and over

A new subdivision project featuring single-family homes, conservation areas, and a mix of industrial, commercial, and institutional spaces was approved by the Anderson County Planning Commission earlier this month.

The total investment is not yet public; however, it will be located on Hampton and Welcome Road in District 7, which encompasses the Williamston and Honea Path area.
