BLACKSBURG, Va. (WFXR) – The Blacksburg Police Department announced road closures will be in place and drivers should expect delays on Main Street.
The road closures will begin on Friday, August 1, at 4 a.m. through Sunday, August 3, at the following locations.

- South Main Street is closed at Washington Street
- North Main Street closed at the Alumni Mall entrance
- Draper Road closed just past Kent Square Parking Garage
Blacksburg PD is advising motorists and residents to plan alternate routes and to be on the lookout for detours.
