Psych defense sought in Syracuse double murder case

Attorneys for a man accused of killing his girlfriend and 11-year-old son are pursuing a psychiatric defense, according to CNY Central.

David Huff, 43, appeared in Onondaga County Court Tuesday in connection with the March 17 double homicide in Syracuse’s Valley Neighborhood. He faces multiple murder charges and an attempted murder charge for allegedly pointing a shotgun at his stepfather.
