Rock the Park is one of Tampa’s best free live music series, and it’s been going strong for nearly 15 years.
This monthly event takes place the first Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m., typically at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park (600 Ashley Dr). The venue offers stunning views of the Hillsborough River and the Tampa Riverwalk, with the iconic minarets of the University of Tampa creating a postcard-perfect backdrop.
Each show highlights local musicians, giving attendees a chance to discover new sounds and support homegrown talent. For many bands, Rock the Park has served as a launchpad in Tampa’s music scene.
