Anyone who’s had trouble finding parking on a busy evening in downtown Wilmington could likely have an even harder time soon — at least temporarily.
New Hanover County just announced its parking deck at 212 North Second St., between Chestnut and Grace streets, will close Monday, Aug. 4, for “essential structural repairs,” according to a county news release.
The deck “will be inaccessible for the duration of the work, which is expected to take 4-6 weeks to complete,” the release stated. It is tentatively slated to be reopened in mid-September…
