Hutson suggests May 16 jailbreak was politically motivated at forum for sheriff candidates

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – Orleans Parish Sheriff Susan Hutson took the opportunity at a public campaign forum Tuesday (July 29) to suggest the May 16 jailbreak by 10 inmates at the facility she oversees was politically motivated.

Hutson made the remark in response to a question submitted by someone at the Step Up for Action forum at the Blessed Trinity Catholic Church in Broadmoor.
