KHP inspects school buses ahead of classes

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – The Kansas Highway Patrol was busy on Wednesday making sure school buses are ready to hit the road for the new year.

The inspections were held at the First Student lot in south Wichita and included everything from lights to brakes.

“This helps the parents to know that everything that’s transporting their students to and from school, to and from activities, that they can know that it’s safe, and it’s been inspected,” KHP Trooper Jaydon Weve said…
