ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science is set to close for around seven months for significant renovations.
“On Monday, August 4, we are going to start replacing our sewer line. That is the first project we’ll be undertaking,” said Shannon Bay, the museum’s deputy director.
Crews will have to dig a 4-foot trench throughout the entire museum to do that. While the museum is closed, they will also replace the skylights throughout the building, streamline the front entrance and make a few tweaks to some longtime exhibits…
