HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Our HNN crew found dozens gathered at Tantalus Lookout just hours before the first tsunami wave was set to hit the islands.
One man said his friend in Florida received the warning before he did.
“I checked it out,” he said. “And I decided to maybe go up the mountain for a minute.”
