ALBANY — A 36-year-old Albany man was charged with driving while intoxicated after three children were hit by a vehicle late Tuesday night in West Hill.
The driver was traveling south on Lexington Avenue just before 10 p.m. when he struck two 12-year-olds and a 13-year-old, who were in the road near the intersection with Second Street, police said.
The 13-year-old and a 12-year-old both were injured in the leg, while the other 12-year-old was injured in the head and stomach. They were treated at the scene by Albany firefighters and brought to Albany Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries, police said…
