Asheville leaders propose alcohol-friendly district to boost local business traffic

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — Asheville leaders are looking to boost foot traffic, support local businesses and collaborate among shops and breweries.

Some city leaders want to try out an alcohol friendly social district. This means alcoholic beverage drinkers can freely walk to and from participating breweries, bars and shops with an open container.
