DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Ohio Task Force 1 has been activated in response to Tsunami impacts on Hawaii.
A 45-member type-III Urban Search and Rescue team will head to Hawaii after being activated around 3 a.m. Wednesday.
“Team members are currently being notified, rostered, and directed to report to the OH-TF1’s headquarters for further instructions. Preparations are already underway as the Logistics team begins packaging equipment in anticipation for deployment via aircraft,” the agency said in a press release…
