GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Darius Yarnell Wilson, 27, was arrested last night after allegedly pushing his way into the home of two family members, battering one of them, and then shooting into the home as he drove away.
On July 29, an Alachua County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to the victims’ home and found that several bullets had been fired into the home. One of the victims said that at about 4:45 p.m., Wilson had unexpectedly arrived at the home, demanded his belongings, and tried to open the front door to come inside. The victim said she opened the front door and Wilson pushed her to the floor, climbed on top of her, and repeatedly slammed her head into the floor. The second victim pushed Wilson off the first victim, and he reportedly fled to his vehicle, which was parked behind the residence. As he fled, the victims said, they heard multiple gunshots…
