OCEAN ISLE BEACH, N.C. (WMBF) – A suspect charged in the death and dismemberment of a missing woman is now back in North Carolina.
Charles Antwine Jr. was transferred from the Florence County Detention Center on Tuesday and booked into the Brunswick County Detention Center, where he was formally charged in Christie Ward’s death.
He is charged with murder and destruction of body/removal of contents of an unattended death.
Both Antwine and Ward were reported missing from their home in Brunswick County at the beginning of June…
