HOPKINS COUNTY, TX – A Sulphur Springs woman was arrested on July 28, 2025, after law enforcement executed a search warrant at her residence, leading to the discovery of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
According to the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office, Wende Cheree Gibbs, age 56, was taken into custody following an extensive narcotics investigation. The search was carried out by Hopkins County Investigators with assistance from Hopkins County Deputies, who located several items of drug paraphernalia including digital scales, clear baggies for packaging, and approximately 112 grams of suspected methamphetamine. The narcotics were discovered packaged in a manner consistent with distribution.
