DENVER (KDVR) — A climber died near Officer’s Gulch on Tuesday, according to the Summit County Sheriff’s Office.
The climber had set out as part of a group of three to ascend the “Hasta la Vista Amichi” route on Tuesday. At about 11 a.m., the Summit County Sheriff’s Office and Summit County Rescue Group were called to the route for a reported accident.

The Mountain Project describes the sport route as a 5.7 difficulty that is a “chill, straightforward route with long pitches on mostly high quality stone.”
