Las Vegas man admits guilt in ‘Reba’ case, which sparked new Nevada animal cruelty law

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The man who left a dog to die inside a sealed plastic tub in the summer heat, in a case that inspired a new Nevada law, pleaded guilty Wednesday.

Isaac Laushal Jr., 32, pleaded guilty to one count of animal abuse, records said.

On July 26, 2024, Las Vegas Metro police officers found the English bulldog, later named “Reba,” in the 1100 block of East Twain Avenue next to a dumpster inside a tote that was taped shut.
