Suspected Grand Sierra Resort gunman Dakota Hawver, 26, is in police custody at a local hospital after being shot by police on July 28.
According to police, Hawver walked up to the GSR valet area Monday and shot several people there and in the parking lot, killing three before being shot by police.
Police are guarding his room 24/7, according to Jen Bader, public information officer for the Sparks Police Department, which is leading the investigation. She said he’s likely in his own room to protect the integrity of the case…
