Over 70 children without a day care after DCF abruptly closes Northwest Jacksonville center over AC repairs

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The owner of a Northwest Jacksonville daycare center is at an impasse with her landlord after the Department of Children and Families (DCF) abruptly closed the center due to air conditioning issues.

A total of 73 children at the Children of the King Learning Center on Edgewood Avenue are without child care because of the abrupt closure.
