Kearney Center distributing meals and cold water as temperatures rise

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – As the summer continues to heat up, the Kearney Center, Tallahassee’s primary homeless shelter, is distributing free meals and cold water to those in need.

Additionally, for those who need transportation to the shelter, Senior Public Relations Strategist Caroline Benson said the center is using the Kearney Center Outreach Shuttle to transport them.

“As always, we’re welcoming unsheltered individuals for day services, including meals, showers, air conditioning, and access to service providers from 9 AM to 4 PM daily,” Benson said…
