El Paso man remains jailed in DWI, fiery crash that killed 93-year-old grandfather

An El Paso man remains jailed, accused of intoxicated manslaughter for allegedly causing a fiery freeway crash that killed a 93-year-old man last year, court records show.

A grand jury indicted Alberto Anahotzin Gonzalez, 36, in May on five criminal counts in connection with a fatal two-vehicle crash on Interstate 10 near Redd Road in West El Paso on Aug. 30, 2024, an indictment states.
