ST. LOUIS – A confrontation at a north St. Louis Wendy’s escalated to a shooting, leaving one employee dead and another critically injured Tuesday morning.
Officials reported the incident around 7 a.m. after receiving calls about gunfire. Officers arrived to find one man dead and another critically injured in the parking lot.
“There was some dispute over personal matters, which spilled into the parking lot. One victim stabbed the other victim. The victim who was stabbed retrieved a firearm and shot the other victim,” said Captain Matthew Karnowski.
