Woman hurt in mid-morning stabbing in Northeast DC

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Police in the District said a woman was taken to the hospital after being stabbed in the middle of the morning in Northeast D.C. on Thursday.

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) responded to the 500 block of 21st Street NE minutes before 10:30 a.m., where they found a woman who had been stabbed.

When first responders arrived, she was conscious and breathing.
