Social media lit up Wednesday after sheriff’s vehicles were spotted outside Sunny Sands Elementary School in Cathedral City, with some posts speculating that federal immigration agents were involved.The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department confirmed that was not the case.According to the department, its emergency response team and gang task force were serving a search warrant on a nearby street, Avenida.
