Nearly 5 years later, Clovis man accused of 2 decades of child molestation, to face trial

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A man who was arrested in 2020 and was accused of molesting multiple children under the age of 14 for two decades is going to trial, nearly five years later, according to court documents.

On Nov. 25, 2020, the sheriff’s office said they arrested Nathaniel Stephen Myers from Clovis. Deputies at the time arrested him on six counts of lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14.

According to court documents, Myers was released a day later on Nov. 26.

The sheriff’s office said an investigation found that Myers had molested multiple children under the age of 14. The charges brought against Myers allege the crimes were committed from 2001 to 2017.
