MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A “betrayal of trust” is how prosecutors described the arrest of former Mobile Attorney Darryl Blackmon.

“We take it very seriously because attorneys are in a position of public trust,” Chief Assistant District Attorney Jennifer Susman said.
Blackmon was previously disbarred by the Alabama Bar Association, but is accused of practicing anyway and stealing thousands of dollars from clients.
