Man charged in Summerdale stabbing makes first court appearance

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A Honduran man charged with attempted murder after a soccer game in Summerdale turned violent made his first court appearance to face those charges.

Jefferson Tinoco, 23, is charged with attempted murder in a stabbing investigators called an unprovoked attack.

His bond has been set at $75,000. If he is released on bond, he will have to be under house arrest, wear an ankle monitor, and have no contact with the victim.

The victim, whose name investigators have not yet disclosed, was stabbed once in the neck and twice in the back during a soccer game on a private field in Summerdale on July 19…
