Autopsy: DEA agent shot Nashville man three times in the back

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A federal agent with the Drug Enforcement Agency shot a Nashville man three times in the back, nine times total, according to an autopsy obtained by WSMV4 Investigates.

Deshaune Jones, 36, was shot and killed by the agent on April 16 at 109 29th Avenue North in Nashville as part of what a DEA spokesman describes as a “large-scale drug trafficking operation.”

Jones’ autopsy shows he was shot two times in the chest, twice in the buttocks, once in the arm and in the thigh, and three times in the back…
