Nashville Teens Arrested for Overnight Carjacking Spree, Multiple Vehicles Stolen and Recovered

Nashville police have apprehended two teenagers after a series of carjackings and attempted heists that unfolded in the early hours of the morning. According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, the 16-year-olds are implicated in a nocturnal rampage involving several vehicles across the city.

A total of five incidents, including the thefts of a Ford Fusion, a Honda Accord, and a Honda Civic, as well as attempted carjackings of a Toyota Rav4 and a truck, scarred the city’s calm. Victims described their assailants as armed teenagers wielding a long gun and pistols, seeking to impose their will through the barrel, rather than the ballot. The brazen offenses transpired at various locations, with the first carjacking reported at a gas station on Hillsboro Pike around 2:10 a.m., and the final one on Rep. John Lewis Way sometime during the 3 a.m. hour.

The police located the stolen Honda Civic near 11th Avenue South and Deford Bailey Avenue at dawn—before the city had fully awoken from its slumber. There, two of the young suspects were placed under arrest, while three others vanished into the encroaching dawn.
